Solo Pro Association
The Solo Pro Association
Formerly the International Association of Self-Employed Communication Professionals (IASECP)
For 15 years, IASECP has helped solo-based professionals learn to navigate the world of self employment. Initially, we served experts in the communication industries such as copywriters, graphic designers, PR and marketing pros and other creatives. In the last two years we have expanded the people we serve to include business service providers across the board. So if you’re a consultant, business coach, accountant or bookkeeper, or another type of Solo Pro, you’ll find what you need to set up and run your solo-based business here.
We’re still putting the final touches on our upgrade and will be revealing the results soon. Be sure you’re in the loop by being subscribed to my newsletter in the box on the right – plus you’ll receive my Income Accelerator Success Kit as well.

I first met Barbara when she was facilitating a group for creative professionals. What I saw was her dedication to help freelancers and other creative people to learn business skills. Her focus has been unwavering in her commitment to help these people to build lucrative businesses as well as still be creative. She excels at bringing people together and providing venues for the creative professional to shift their mind-set. I am grateful to have her as a peer and be able to share ideas with her.
I’ve known Barbara for a while and knew the deep commitment and passion she has for helping solo creative professionals thrive. She gets you out of your traditional way of viewing what you do, allowing you to imagine new places to take your business. But more importantly, she gives you concrete, actionable steps to get there. What you learn, is to value and maximize what you’re already doing well and love. And she helps you get greater clarity on who best to serve based on your passion and natural gifts. All this comes together in systems that free you to do your best work. Because Barbara also engages in a high degree of professional development, she’s collected, tested and fine-tuned the best tools. I highly recommend Barbara if you need a compassionate, but straight-talking, kick in the pants to advance your business.
